Bookshelf library embed

A list of blue links says “we have files.” A shelf with covers says “pick something to read.” For more than a handful of titles, the shelf usually wins.

A bookshelf embed groups publications visually: readers scan spines or covers, open what they need, and return to browse more. That pattern matches how people already behave in learning portals and publisher shops.

When it pays off

Corporate libraries with HR, safety, and product PDFs. Education packs with units or years. Seasonal catalogs where you want last season visible but not mixed into the current campaign page.

Keeping the shelf tidy

Use consistent cover aspect ratios and readable titles on the thumbnail. A beautiful flipbook with an illegible spine image wastes the browse step.

See bookshelf examples and compare to a single embed when you only have one publication.
